What to Buy Your Entrepreneur
Once you have an entrepreneur or small business owner in the family, it can be nice to get them gifts that they can use for business - especially if they are just starting out and can’t afford just for fun or “luxury” items. A happy office is a successful office!
And if you are the entrepreneur with a little bit of extra Christmas money that you’re looking to spend, these are some of my favourite things!

Blue Yeti Microphone
Once I started doing regular videos, a good microphone was a must - people are willing to put up with lower quality video, but if the audio is bad or choppy they’re very quickly going to scroll past!
Bluetooth Mouse
Wires are soooo 2005, and even a USB mouse is taking up valuable port space on your laptop. I like that this one comes in a couple of different colors and is slim, which makes it super portable. And bonus, it's rechargable, so no more running out of batteries!
Smartphone Tripod
If you don’t have a good quality webcam or you prefer to take photos and videos while you’re out and about, having a simple tripod for your phone can make a world of difference. I once cobbled together a homemade stand using a kleenex box and cardboard tubes - trust me when I say that a tripod is so much easier to use!
Power Bank
If you are on the go a lot, or tend to be working places where outlets are not consistently available, a power bank can be a lifesaver. I recognize that this one doesn't work with some of the newest iPhones because of the cable change, but I still recommend it because it works with both iOS and Samsung devices, so you can share with a friend if you need to.
Wallet Phone Case
I know that some people don’t like the bulk of wallet cases, but with a wallet case I can still hold important cards, a few emergency business cards, and some cash, and still be able to slip it into a pocket - no more purse or bag needed. And the best ones also function as a built-in stand for your phone as well. The exact case varies widely depending on the make and model of your phone, but ULAK makes fun, beautiful, quality cases.
Bluetooth Speaker
No office is complete without music! If your laptop or desktop speakers are just not cutting it, use this speaker to enhance the music on your smartphone - it also has a built-in mic and hands free calling so that you can take calls without having to touch your phone to turn off the music. My old speaker doesn’t work with my new phone, so I can’t wait to get my hands on this one!
Earbuds
These earbuds have lasted me a long time - I’ve even been able to use them to watch movies on airplanes (while sitting on the wing right next to the engines!).
